With the early arrival of spring, we are also starting section play on an accelerated schedule where possible. Dates of various sections openings are:

First Hole In One Of The Season
Congratulations to Randy Fournier who had the first hole in one of the season at Osprey Links on Friday, April 16th.
Mr. Fournier aced the 165 yard 17th hole with playing partners Dennis Rounsville and Jason Linkewewich witnessing the feat.
For the record, this is Mr. Fourniers second hole in one at Osprey. He scored his first on September 28th, 2008 on the same hole.

Computers Are Here To Stay
With the new season we have added a little more automation to the Pro-Shop operation with a new computerized tee sheet.
For the next couple of weeks it might take us a few minutes more to book your time as we learn the tricks and traps, keystrokes and other things necessary to make it work. So please
be patient with us for a few days as we train our fingers and minds to work with the new system.
Bag Tags Available For Pick Up
Bag Tags and Member Cards are now done. If you pre-purchased your membership over the winter, please stop by the Pro-Shop to pick up yours.
Club Storage Spaces Available
Tired of dragging your golf clubs from you house to the trunk of your car and back every time you want to golf. Consider storing your clubs at Osprey.
A limited number of storage stalls remain.
Reminder.... Join Before May 1st To Save On The HST
Although the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) does not come into effect in Ontario until July 1st, as Of May 1st, 2010 Memberships Are Subject To HST
For The Pro-Rated Value From July 1st to Seasons End.
The Transitional Rules for the implementation of HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) in Ontario requires vendors selling goods such as golf memberships
with residual value on and after July 1st, 2010 charge a Pro-Rated value for HST applicable from the implementation date (July 1st, 2010) until the expiration date of the membership.
Based on normal operational days all memberships purchased after April 30th, 2010 will be charged 5% GST on 37.5% of the value and 13% HST on 62.5% of the membership value.
Join Before May 1st To Save The HST (8%) On Your Membership!
By signing up and paying for your membership by April 30th, 2010 you will not be subject to any HST on the pro-rated value of your membership from July 1st to October 31st.
